Halloween

We had a great Halloween. It seemed that the week of Halloween was so busy! We went to 4 different Halloween events in 7 days! The Saturday before Halloween, we went to "Boo at the Zoo". We love the zoo! It was so much fun for Ryan to wear his costume, see lots of animals, and get some candy too. Ryan was Superman for Halloween. Martin's mom actually made the costume for him and his little brothers when they were younger. It was great! Ryan loved it so much! Kate was a dalmation puppy. She played the part well as she crawled around the house.

On the 29th our ward had a Halloween party also. It was a lot of fun with food, a parade, and games for the kids to play. We didn't really take any pictures at it, but it was nice to see friends and eat some spooky food!

We carved two pumpkins with Ryan, while Kate was sleeping. Because things got so busy, Martin and I didn't end up carving our own pumpkins. So sad! Carving pumpkins is one of my favorite things to do. Halloween night, a few of our friends came over to take some pictures before they went off to a trunk or treat. Then we headed off to our friend Tony and Jason's house to say hello. This was Ryan's first year to actually trick or treat. Tony took Ryan around their coldasac. Ryan is still learning how the process goes, because as soon as the person came to the door, Ryan walked right in. He didn't quite understand that all you have to do is stand there and they give you some candy. After entering 3 houses, he got it right for the last two. Then we stopped over to Martin's parents house and visited for a bit. I think I have eaten the majority of the candy, Ryan has tasted a few things!
