Happy Birthday Kate
Kate turned 1 last week. We can't believe it! She is really so much fun! We celebrated by having a few friends over for dinner and cake and ice cream. I made a carrot cake and strawberry sorbet using my juicer. Kate enjoyed the cake a lot. Ryan helped her blow out the candle. She is making great progress in the walking department. She takes about 6 or 8 steps on her own at a time now. Her new favorite thing is to stand up on the trampoline. It freaks me out a little. She is quickly getting control of her balance.

Happy Birthday to Kate! She's adorable. And what a yummy carrot cake. My FAVORITE! There's just something about a carrot cake...mmmmm....
Sounds like she's doing great at walking as well. Big girl. She'll have to teach Charlie some of her tricks. =)
And such an adorable one year old, too! That was a very fast year.
I'm impressed that you even managed to make a birthday party healthy. You are inspiring me to remember and start practicing those healthy habits I seem to have forgotten lately. :)
